Fuck The Fashion, Bring Back The Passion

Fuck the fashion, bring back the passion
We're a dying scene that will never be erased
Copys, manufactured machines will always be around
They will weaken, supress and even make a big sound
That gets around for the world to see
But we in the underground just sit back frown and wait for their trend to die down
So we can take our crown and our sound and watch them drown

We say it once, we'll say twice but thrice we'll back ours with no warning or hesitation
We'll say it soo quick you'll think it was a halucination
"THIS IS OUR SCENE AND YOU BETTER BELIEVE THAT WE'LL MAKE YOU BLEED!"
You can take your cash because this means more to us than just green
And we already forseen that you're a blood-sucking flea that destroys all around

I miss the days when you had to be pure to be a big in this scene
Now anybody can be a collassal megastar, something I once wanted to be
But I grew up and realized that fame and riches is not worth it, its only greed
It took me awhile realize it and to see that with fortune you're no longer free
Free to be you, free to write what you feel, do what your heart desires-DENIED
But you see I've come to terms that with my pride and dignity is what keeps my fire aflamed

My craft is my music and yes I plan on making a career out of it, but if it means destroying my scene?!
Screw it you can have it back!! I'll remain a local act
And you ask what is my scene? Music. The Music Scene, A Dying Scene.
There was a time in music where you had no choice but to be good no halfstepping
Now its anybody with a tad bit of charisma can be musicians and be a nationwide act.
I see acts in all sorts of genres that are not getting properly recognized due to their drive not to be a quitter or a sucker
And these acts I applaud (thank you Red Light Green Light for inspiring to make this)

I'm a simple person, I don't want or need too much to be happy
All I want to do is go from city to city and put smiles on people faces and give them threapy like how records did for me
And still do for me.

Emo, Screamo, Crunk, Snap, Crunkcore, Jerk, Grindcore, Deathcore, Autotune whatever the flavor of the day is, KILL IT
I soo sick of all these trends popping up everywhere and there is almost no progress or positivity or creativity from them
Its like everyone just wants to do what's in and not even take a chance to expand upon the music.

Its like from the beginning of music to about '81 music was getting better and better.
From about '82 onward the carbon copys started to pop up and its like these scenes don't wear out
They just DIE!
It happened to disco, hair metal, grunge they don't just wear out but still relivent but the scene DIES
No progression just-trend, rinse, repeat

I'm tired of seeing this happening, I want more musicians that write music and not think about the next guys movement
If we had more musicians that wrote what they felt instead of what they think will appeal, music would not be soo dry

Fuck The Fashion, Bring Back The Passion...
